Market City

Retail hub Market City engaged Trend Lighting to assist with lighting upgrades in both new and existing areas.

Trend Lighting's Specifications Team assisted lighting designers Firefly Point Of View with supplying lights to upgrade both new and existing areas of Market City. The brief was to enhance the overall customer experience in corridors, common areas and the car park.

Of particular note for this project is Market City's food area, which was recently transformed recently into 1909 Dining Precinct. Situated on level three of Market City and featuring a line-up of ten deluxe Asian eateries, the 1909 Dining Precinct is definitely a great spot to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy a delicious meal or snack. Our team was tasked with making the dining area not only brighter, but warmer. The lighting temperature was upgraded to a warm 3000K, creating an inviting environment for shoppers to savour their meals. The comfortable lounges and floor rugs similarly reflect this ethos of relaxation and comfort.

David Yam, Market City's Centre Manager said, "the Trend Lighting Spec Team have successfully helped us in achieving our centre's lighting upgrade goals. The team go above and beyond to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved. I look forward to working with them in the future."
