Where work feels showing up for
Level 8 66 Goulburn Street
Level 8 is the latest expression of this vision. Designed by Christopher Lane of Lane Studio, the space is defined by a quiet confidence, brought to life through a refined palette of light timber, warm whites, soft greens, and deep charcoal. Formal and informal zones are subtly distinguished through shifts in texture, tone, and light.
Working closely with Lane Studio, Trend Lighting delivered a curated lighting scheme, with each luminaire carefully selected to support the overall design narrative.
From the moment you step out of the lift, XDRL10 downlights create a calm, composed arrival along the corridor. In reception, XRD10 semi-recessed downlights in a double configuration take focus, enhanced by a pull-out gimbal that allows precise, targeted illumination, setting a clear and intentional tone.
Across the open work areas and corridors, the lighting becomes more layered. XTB10 track spots run in a measured rhythm, while XSF10 surface-mounted compact downlights, with adjustable zoomable lenses, are directed with precision, some softly washing the walls to add depth and warmth. XSB10 spotlights , arranged in a twin configuration, accent the pigeon-hole shelving and bring out the richness of the timber.
In the café and kitchen, XTO20 track spots provide warm, inviting illumination that anchors the social heart of the space. Nearby, XSO20 surface-mounted downlights highlight the greenery, adding a soft, natural layer that brings the space to life.
Throughout, the lighting quietly recedes into the architecture, allowing the materials and the people within the space to take centre stage. The result is a workplace that feels warm, layered, and genuinely inviting.
